Changing the 'Qty. per Unit of Measure'

Dear BC-friends,

I'm struggeling with changing the 'Qty. per Unit of Measure'.
Since I'm puchasing material in different units than we are selling them I would like to adjust this.
In this specific case we are selling per piece (base unit) but I'm buying in Kg. (Purch. unit)
Therefor I want to enter the ratio (1Kg = 4 pcs).
Unfortunately without any success.
The following error keeps on coming up:

/You cannot modify Item Unit of Measure KG for item ELEK-3.2-BASIS because non-zero Qty. to Ship with KG exists in Sales Line./

However I can't find any sales line at all.
At least not any open ones.

Anybody knows how to fix this?

Thank you in advance.

Kind regards,

Jeroen Mulder

To find the line that is causing the error, try to use Configuration Package and export table 37, if there are a lot of entries, add the filter to the No. field = ELEK-3.2-BASIS
Then You can check if there are any such lines. It can be Sales Quote, Order or Invoice or CreditMemo line - all are kept in this table.
