SOP Document In Customer Transaction Inquiry but not in Sales Documents Inquiry

Hey Guys,

We have noticed recently that some Sales Documents are missing in Sales Document Inquiry.

We go to Inquiry->Sales->Transaction by Customer and we see this sales document in the inquiry by customer number.

However, when we go to Inquiry->Sales->Sales Documents, there is no record for this sales document.

This is a valid transaction (we have scanned copy of its shipping ticket) and nobody deleted it on purpose (it should be in history table already).

Anybody have a clue of what possibly happened?

Hi There,

Some possible causes of this are as follows:

1. If History is not maintained for your Sales Order Processing transactions.
2. If History was removed from Sales History (through Tools | Utilities | Sales | Remove Sales History).

It shows up in Receivables Transactions because posted SOP transactions flow to the Receivables Management open table. Even if transaction is removed from Sales History, the corresponding RM record will still be maintained and will therefore remain in the Customer's balance.
