Connecting CRM On Premise and D365 to SharePoint Online

I have a customer using D365 and SharePoint Online. They have bought another company who is using CRM 2016 On Premise and they want to know if they can both connect to the same SharePoint Online environment (obviously with different SharePoint sites for each CRM system).

Is there any issue with doing this?

Hi Franglais,

As per: technet.microsoft.com/.../dn949332.aspx under "Other prerequisites and limitations"

"If you use Microsoft SharePoint 2013, for each SharePoint farm, only one Microsoft Dynamics 365 organization can be configured for server-based integration. However, you can connect more than one Microsoft Dynamics 365 organization to a SharePoint 2016 server farm."

Based on this, I think it should work.
