Remove Process as part of a Solution

I'm trying to create a solution which, when applied, will remove a process on the system.

So far I haven't been able to get it to work, if I remove(or delete) it when setting up the solution the 'removal' doesn't go in the solution and isn't applied.

The process I'm removing is the built-in 'Lead to Opportunity' process in CRM 2013.  De-activating the process doesn't remove the process bar which is why I'm deleting it.

Am I doing something wrong?

Also solutions are additive, which basically means you can't remove things by importing a solution you can only add things

this page explains things in a bit more details

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../gg334495.aspx

Importing an unmanaged solution is an additive process. Importing an older version of a managed solution will not remove solution components included in a newer version. However the definition of any solution component properties will be overwritten with the definition included in the last unmanaged solution you import.

this blog does have a way to delete things but it involves two managed solutions

    Hi HAJS,

Instead of deleting the solution, why don't you open the entity and uncheck the permission to view solutions, doing what way, you cannot see the process in your forms.

Let me know if this answer is helpful.

    Regards,
