Acquisition & Depreciation issues

Was wondering if anyone has had issues with adding a asset to an existing Fixed Asset and depreciating it.

When I calculate depreciation for the month, the system prorates the previous assets NBV and currently added asset and depreciated it for that portion only. Example asset added on July 20th. The system will depreciate the asset only for 11 days including the previous NBV. Causing me a real headache here. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

You can force the calc days to 30 when you run the reporte.

    Have you try that?

You can run that report the first month forcing the number of days because is the month of 11 days for the fixed asset, next month I think the normal report will serve
