Due to many incoming support requests where Dynamics NAV partners / Cloud Solution Providers ask Microsoft CSS (MS support) to ask the product group to increase the standard time out of 10 minutes to a higher value for specific Dynamics 365 Business Central tenants, here is an update where we are with these requests / what is the status is.
These requests were first discussed in a private Yammer group where ISV's and our Product Managers are active. Status of this discussion is written below:
This is already tracked under our stability investments. Work does not start before Feb 1st due to other higher priorities. No ETA to when we can deliver yet, but the expectation is that this can ship independently from the major release. The slice is already groomed based on input from Yammer as well as various internal and external support requests. Note that what users are experiencing may be a different, new challenge with browsers freezing inactive tabs and may require for further investigation and redesign.
At this point we kindly ask you for your patience until the product group does make a final decision on this matter. CSS has no influence in the decision making process and filing more support requests will not speed up the process. When new information does come available around this topic, we will of course share it here.
