Print BOM lines of a BOM item on packing slip

Hi All,

I have a BOM item on Sales order. The BOM item has many BOM lines.

I create a packing slip and print it, but print result isn't what I hope.

I want that all BOM lines of the BOM item can be listed on packing slip(the print result), not the BOM item its own.

Could you teach me how to resolve?

Hy Jacky,

there is an option on the sales order line to "Explode BOM Lines" of the BOM item.

This removes the Qunatity form the BOM item and inserts all lines for the BOM line items

Also on the standrad documents the BOM Line item are now printed.

The functionality ‘Explode - BOM lines‘ can have BOM lines entered into sales order automatically. But I think it also will make packing slip issue items by BOM lines. This is not my scenario. I hope D365 can I issue item according to BOM item, but print packing slip by BOM line items.

Could you like to give me some suggestions about this? or my thought about this ‘Explode - BOM lines‘ is not so right.

Hy,

may be you also try to use the "product bundle" feature which needs to be activated in the feature management but is not applyable for all processes and configurations.
