Auto generate batch number on receiving using WMS process

Hi All,

Have setup the item master to auto-generate batch number for each quantity, while receiving . But it seems to be not working (If there are total 5 quantity, it auto-generates batch for the first quantity and defaults the same generated batch for the remaining 4 quantity) when receiving using advanced warehouse management mobile device interface. However, it is working as expected when registering items manually from the purchase order line level. Batch number is auto-generated for each quantity.

Tracking number group setup is mentioned below.

Tracking number group (Auto-batch) has 'Only for inventory transaction' and 'On physical update' enabled, and 'Per qty' is set to '1' as batch should be generated for each quantity. 'Purchase activation' is also enabled. The same is attached at Item master level.

Can somebody suggest if I am missing any other setups.

Hi Atul,

Any chance for us to just finish PO receiving based on specified quantity? In that case, batch number should be generated accordingly.
