Hi,  Inge, perhaps he was referring to the following feature.

Add email attachments to Business Central records in Outlook (Outlook add-in)

Yes, of course that must be the functionality he is talking about.

The life is definitly easier if you use the same user for both BC and Microsoft 365.

The "A" and "B" users you mentioned are in different Tenant (Domain)?

In any case, it is recommended to use the same ID. Microsoft also mentions this in the new features below.

Access Business Central with your Microsoft 365 license

    Hope this helps.

It is not mandatory to use the same login for both, but it sure makes your life a lot more easier if you do so.

But i am not sure what you mean by sharing incoming documents from outlook. There is no functionality in the standard system that does that.

You can add user A as a guest user in the Azure AD that holds the Business Central tenant. That will at least make things easier for you.

If you are talking about using the outlook-add in for Business Central then you definitely should use the same log in.
