Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 - New Outlook version

Hello, we would like to switch our users to the new Outlook (app). The problem is that the COM integration has been abolished. We use MS Dynamics AX 2012 R3 and send e.g. order confirmations from AX via Outlook. When we switch to the new Outlook version, AX can no longer start Outlook via the COM integration to send the mail with the information. Is there a way to restore this functionality?

Hi, as an alternative to the existing Microsoft Outlook integration with Microsoft Dynamics AX, you can now integrate Microsoft Exchange Server with Microsoft Dynamics AX.

Hello Judy,

Thank you very much for your reply. Unfortunately, this does not help us in our case - unless I have overlooked it? We send documents e.g. order confirmation, quotation by e-mail. The "Email" print type is selected in the print preview and then a new Outlook email with document attachments opens automatically. This should be a standard implementation in AX.

This process no longer works with the new Outlook.
