Hi guys,
I've tried running a search but it seems to be failing me today.
In our Dynamics 2015 (on-prem) we use the Service Calendar for booking out our facilities/spaces and a key issue up until now has been that when we run a report we can't display the actual resources that have been booked.
For example, we have a custom entity that is used for "Corporate Events", when we create a booking in the service calendar we can choose the resources and then set it regarding that "Event". We can then report on the events no problem but we cannot pull through a related field on the booking that shows the actual resource (in this case a room) that has been booked.
Looking into the customisations it appears I can't create 1:n / n:1 / n:n relationships for the resources entity to be able to create a relationship and report on which resource is linked to a booking/event.
I was told that that is just tough luck as the Resource entity just doesn't support it, which I find bizarre.
Is there any way I could get this standard entity to appear under Related when creating a report?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
