Reports.dic updating

Okay,

I've just applied SP4 on my GP 2010 server successfully.  I ran the GP Utilities on the server and all the databases were also updated successfully.  Now for the clients.  I run the update on the first client, no problems.  Now I need to run the GP Utilities on the client host to update the reports.dic file.  I do this and everything works great.  I can access the system, run reports etc..

After running the update successfully on the second client when I go to open GP it tells me that I need to update the reports.dic file again???  Why?? I've already done this when I updated the first client.  I should mention that the reports.dic is located in a shared folder on the network.   Anyone have any advice on how to fix this problem.  I suspect something on the client configuration needs to be set in order to bypass that message.

Thanks!

    Hi,

Is your dynamics.set file on the second client is pointing to reports.dic on the shared folder.  Have you tried to copy the dynamics.set file from the first client and ran utilities on 2nd client.
