SL 2015 CU1 screen icons display as binary

Hi Guys,

After installing SL2015 Cu1, all of the menu icon buttons (located at the top of the screen) on scroll over or on clicking (if there are drop down options as well) are all displayed as binary eg. 0101.

Appreciate if anyone can share ideas on possible causes/ resolution.

    Is this happening on all your workstations?   I would suggest that you check the regional settings on the machine.  

    I am not in the USA and I had to make sure that the regional settings were set to that region then the numbers on the menu disappeared.

    Tried the first two above but no luck.. Researched the dll missing error and came across  another related post that said to check the language of the client machine (in my case I needed to change it to US English), that did the trick.
