Is there a way to customize the color of the "Tracked to Dynamics 365" appointment category on a per user basis?

We use the Outlook calendar for quick and easy scheduling and while my users are loving the confirmation that the appointments are being tracked, the uniform designation of the category color to all appointments is wrecking havok on our Reception/Scheduling team. Where once they experienced a beautiful, color coordinated canvas, they now face a dark grey blob, devoid of all personalization.

Does anyone know of a way to set the color of the category based on the "Organizer" of the appointment?

I dont think we can change the color using any OOB function/feature. You will have to come up with a custom UI interface or perhaps write a plugin for outlook to achieve this.
