hi,

Everyone ,

I need to update the customer account and all the customer details from the default customer which i have added to cust parameter table to the new sales order when i am trying to import the sales order through entity , can anyone guide me on this ,

as you say existing sales order cannot be modified but when i am importing the new sales order through excel then , is that possible to change .

Hi ,
Martin ,

In my excel i have followed the number sequence , data is getting uploaded in staging , with no errors , but staging status is not started , and in here new record is getting inserted into salestable but , my salestable query is selecting first record . so i am not able to insert new record in salestable .

You seem to be saying that data was inserted, but you have a problem with some unknown query.

Because it's a different problem than how "to update the customer", it doesn't belong to this thread. Please create a new one, give it a descriptive title (I can't give you a suggestion, because the topic isn't clear to me) and explain your problem in detail there.

Because you seem to have a problem with a query, make sure you explain what the query does and when you run it. Also, explain what you found when you debugged it. If a query doesn't fetch expected data, the problem may be either in query or in the data. Therefore check if the expected records exist and if so, identify the condition that filters them out.

Thanks for Reply ,

You were right ,there will be issue if new sales id will be inserted , number sequence is the issue and if i tried to follow the no seq then it search for the recid in salestable if not found it will through validation error "Results Validations failed while writing entity record".
