Editing buttons within Menu > Functions on POS

Hi, long time viewer, first time poster.

Was wandering if anyone could help me. within RMS Store Operations POS I have been asked to sort some buttons within Menu > Functions.
Basically at the moment, there are some discount buttons that do not work, simple 5%, 10% etc. I need to get these working as well as add some more buttons, but cannot find the location to edit these within Store Manager.
I have looked within Database > Register > Keyboards but in there is the buttons for the Custom menu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

    Thanks for the response.

I already know how to create macros to make discount buttons, but thanks for the article. Will have a read through in case I am missing anything.

We are using a few 3rd party add-ins, but none of which should touch the keyboards.

    Thanks

    Chris

    Hello Christoski,

    Thank you for the update.

I was not able to locate the discounts in your screenshot from the Functions menu. It does not appear in the list of functions when using the functions function that I described in my last post.

Are you using 3rd party add-ins?

The first article I had posted describes a method for creating discount macros. Please examine.

Creating a Transaction Discount Using a Macro in Store Operations.

You can assign macros to the touchscreen buttons.

Thanks for the quick response, I appreciate it.

As you can see in the screenshot below. When you click on Functions (from previous screenshot) you can get to this screen showing the 6 possible discount options (along with other buttons), however none of these work. Instead of performing a 5% line discount it tries to find an item using the lookup code - "5.00%" and therefore erroring with an "Item not Found"

Is there a way to remove these or edit them so they work?

Sorry if I am not being very clear.

    Thanks

    Chris

    Hello Christoski,

    Thank you for the update.

It is not possible to edit the existing Functions button on the touchscreen keyboard.

You can, however, create a new button with all the existing functions and edit them to your liking.

    1. Log into Store Operations Manager

    2. Click on Database | Registers | keyboards

    3. Click on New

    4. Click on Functions

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

    Hi

Thanks for your response, but I believe I may not have been clear. Below you can see a print screen of the till.

When you click Menu on the left you get the five options appear, what I want to edit is the options after you click the Function Button.

Using the guides you provided I can only edit what's under the custom button.

    Many thanks

    Chris
