Hey Guys,

Has anyone here tried using a Remote desktop server to run RMS and the POS components - Receipt printer / USB Cash draw?

Looking to save costs by doing one install of RMS rather than 5.

    Have heard it being done, but was a pain, each register needs it own access to the registry and that's an issue with Remote Desktop.

    The way around having its own registry is to create a bat script file that changes the register# in the registry prior to launching the Manager or POS.  

    I currently help support this type of environment.  

    The other problem will be hardware,  How to communicate correctly to station hardware.  

    I would make sure you can do that before implementing.
