Hello everyone,

How can I free space on ym data base? I'm tracking a few tables with log changes, mostly headers, but we're attaching a PDF document to all Purchase Orders.

500 USD a month for 100G is excesive, I want to exhaust all options before making that purchase.

Many thanks in advance

I have the same question (0)

Use table information to see the big culprits. Attachments, Media, blob fields and change log are usually the big one’s. Perhaps you could look at archiving the change log to sit in an excel file and store that on a SharePoint site. Have a look at report inbox too. That stores a copy of the report in a blob field.

There is a tool to help in specific areas: robertostefanettinavblog.com/.../

Some things might require a customised routine to remove or export the data elsewhere.

    Hi

Adding to Josh info my recommendation is to utilize SharePoint for attachments. We store many files for SO and PO. We use SharePoint Connector for this purpose. This way we keep our Database size small.

Also, pay attention to your Sandbox. Anytime you create a Sandbox it goes against your database size.

Also, use "Data Administration" tools per Josh recommendation

    Free SharePoint Connector:

    Paid SharePoint Connector:

    Other option
