Hi

If we need to change a project contract ID, we currently right click > record information > rename

I believe you need system admin security to do this?

Is there anywhere else within AX you can rename/change the project contract ID?

I basically do not want users to have system admin rights just for the above

    Hello Simon,

    Is it possible that you define a single user who can make those changes of the contract ID if required?

    If users see a necessity to make such a change, they should address the single user who has admin rights and who can make this change.

    I totally agree on that post in regards changing ID's not good practice.
