Testing Business Central Api Using Postman on Local PC

Hi, how are you all? Hope you all are fine.

I'm calling a Business Central api via postman. Postman is giving an error '401 Unauthorized'. I choosed basic auth and provided username and password (Web service access key) from user card page. But still there is an error "Similar to 403 Forbidden, but specifically for use when authentication is possible but has failed or not yet been provided. The response must include a WWW-Authenticate header field containing a challenge applicable to the requested resource."

Can anyone please tell me how to get rid of this error. Answers will be highly apprecaited.

    Check your web service key.

Sometimes when copy the key, few last characters are not copied.

You can try with username and password which you use to log in Business Central.

I tested with Postman and it is successful.

Hi M Majid Manga, thanks for replying.

Yes, ODataV4 and OData services are already enabled. My custom page is also already enabled and published in the web services.

Now I've reinstalled the postman but still facing same issue.

    Hi,
First check if it resolves and that you can authenticate in a browser with the same endpoint.
Check if ODataV4 is enabled. Check if OData services are enabled.
I tested with http same as your screenshot and it works fine for me. You are accessing a custom page, make sure it's enabled and published in web services.
