Hi All

Following on from my earlier thread, I wonder if we can trigger roll up fields when a user saves or add activity to a form - say opportunity

I know users can manually trigger but looking for a solution that automatically trigger as the scheduler only runs hourly

Thanks

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Samantha73,

You need to use these below triggers for each activity in your workflow:

    1. Record is created
    2. Record Fields Change
      1. Before
      2. After

Use msdyncrmWorkflowTools to refresh your rollup column

If I answer your question then please mark it as verified.

Let me know if I can provide you with more details.

    Thanks

    Hi Samantha73,

As Abdul suggested, you can try to use use msdyncrmWorkflowTools:

You need download and import the solution, then you can use it in the workflow.

    https://github.com/demianrasko/Dynamics-365-Workflow-Tools

This Solution includes one Assembly that contains Tools based on Workflow Activities. You must import this solution, to use it. It only contains the Workflow Assembly and the activities to be used in Workflows, so the import of this solution it will not affect any form, entity, view or navigation item.

There is one tool named--Force Calculate Rollup Field ,which will help you to force the Rollup field calculation in any time in your Workflows.
