Hi to all,

I'm new in this forum and i test now for the first time Dynamics 365 (CRM) Sales.

I've a problem with quote because when I prepare a quote i need to require the price from my supplier and i need to set my price + % Margin for Our but, our quote have many products.

This process by design is slow because i need to open the price list and i set one to one the new cost price.

Can i set my cost price directly from quote in product table?

Thank you

I have the same question (0)

    HI ACRM,

You can add a product that's not exsit in your product catalog,

In this case, You can add manually your price and the cost of your product.

    Hi Mohamed,

Yes, but I can't calculate revenues and add margins on the purchase price to make automatic calculations.

Unfortunately an offer made yesterday is not the same as the one made today because every time I have to ask the supplier for a quote (HPE for example) so I would have to go for each product and change the purchase price :-( and it's a very long time

    Yes I understand your problem,

I think that you cannot modify directly in the quote details and update the product in the standard.

But you can use this via a customization (Development)

Thank you, Do you think it can be done without code?

    Hi ACRM,

This is method that permit you to edit the price of the item. But you cannot update the price List item. I think that you must create a workflow. I'll search you a solution for this.

So to update directly in your quote the price, you can just select the Override price to yes and then you add the correct price.

You can also add this field to the view that is displayed in the subgrid to modifty directly from the quote.

The pricing field can be added here :

Please mark the solution as verified if that's help you.

    Hi Mohamed,

The problem is that we make the projects based on codes, then we request the quotations (with the prices to us) which are returned to us in Excel format, we have to apply an automatic margin (for example 25%) and create our offer by adding the items (already in the price list) of the workforce. The quotation that reaches us is made up of over 40 lines that change every time. However, we would also like to automatically calculate the revenues for statistical purposes.

The bad luck is precisely this that the purchase price is always variable and changing it all the time takes a long time
