Hide a custom button on form for new records

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hi Team,

I have added a custom button on my form and now i want to show this button only for the existing records and hide it for the new record. I have used the ribbon workbench to add the button in the form.

I know that this could be done by using the Ribbon workbench and also even through the javascript but i am not getting exactly the process and also the javascript code to do this?

Can anyone please help me out to do this?

Thanks,

Anita
