Power Automate, Action name for LCY amount

Posted on by 257
Hi everybody!
I am trying to set up a simple flow by a template /Notify on Teams when a certain sales shipment is posted in Business Central/. There you compare the totalAmount with a threshold. It looks like this:
However, we are dealing with mutliple currencies so the totalAmount will not work. I would like the Action name for the 'posted LCY, excl VAT' instead . But I do not have a clue how to find these Action Names. Can anyone please help?
Thanks a lot!

Hi Community member I really appreciate your answer!

I checked the HTLM and the closest I got was something called controlname, but then I got stuck.
When I checked for the action-name I already got (totalAmountIncluding Tax) it not quite match the controlname that was "Amount Including VAT" (not Tax). So I am not sure I found the right thing. 😏

To find the Action name for "posted LCY, excl VAT" in Business Central, you can follow these steps: Log in to your Business Central environment. Navigate to the page where you view sales shipments. Look for the column or field that displays the "posted LCY, excl VAT" amount. Right-click on that field or column header. Select the option that says something like "Inspect Element" or "Inspect." This will open up your browser's developer tools, showing you the HTML code for that element. Look for an attribute or property within the HTML code that contains the name of the action or field. It might be something like "data-action" or "data-field-name." Once you find the action name, you can use it in your flow to trigger notifications when the shipment reaches a certain threshold. If you're unable to find the action name through these steps, you may need to consult your Business Central documentation or reach out to your system administrator for assistance.

Standard APIs do not include all fields. If the fields you need are not available, unfortunately as of now, you need to customize a new custom API.
    More details:
Dynamics 365 Business Central: Can we extend standard APIs? – Download Standard Source Code for APIs

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.
