    Hi,

    Here's a shameless plug - I wrote a book about it!

    www.packtpub.com/.../book

It's from Packt Publishing and it's named 'Developing Microsoft Dynamics GP Business Applications'. Boy, that's a mouthful - Packt dreamed up the name.

The first six chapters of the book explain the GP architecture and walks you through a small Dexterity project. It's intended for you to be able to actually build this small integrating application. In chapter 11, you will even learn how to update your Dexterity integration when a new release comes out.

If you're interested in looking at more than Dexterity, that book actually includes 7 different projects using different tools. Each of the tools below have projects for them:

    Dexterity

    Visual Studio

    Modifier with VBA

    SmartList Builder

    Excel Report Builder

    Drill-down Builder

    Extender

The master of the universe in the world of Dexterity development is David Musgrave. He has sooooo much fabulous information on his blog. You should probably make it your home page, it's that good.

Check out David's blog here:  blogs.msdn.com/.../developingfordynamicsgp

Have fun and buy my book <grin>.

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

Go to your Dexterity installation path and find the development documents for dexterity under Manual folder.

    Or

Open Dexterity, go to Help-->Online Manuals to find the development documents.

You can also find some other GP development documents under content folder from your SDK installation path.

Note: To installing SDK, go to your GP installation path and find the SDK installer under the Tools folder. or Download it from customer source link.

    Hope this helps!!!
