Hi All,
I am using Microsoft flow send email to Approval manager in D365 Online
I am getting following errors when I am trying to send email(for some Approval Managers only). Please help me with this to fix
My actual step is here ;
Regards,
Babu
Hi Babu,
According to the error message, this seems to be due to permissions.
Could you check if these Approval Managers have field security profile?
This is the introduction document of the field security profile: docs.microsoft.com/.../field-level-security
Can you please check if the user with the highlighted user GUID has Append privilege to Action Card entity (Core Records tab in Security Role)
Normally, that would be Microsoft Flow application user and Approvals Administrator security should be assigned to that user.
There are also a couple of forum threads about this issue.

Thanks for your replies.
I have assigned "Approvals Administrator" role to that particular user and that role already have "Append To" permission on "Action Card".
And re tested the flow still getting the same error. Please help
Can you please check if the error PrivilegeName in the error message is the same prvAppendActionCard?
It is not a good practice but can you temporarily assign the System Administrator role to that user and see if works?
Hi,
I was getting same error even after i assigned "System Administrator" role to the particular user. After that I have gone through the links you sent and assigned "System Administrator" role to "Microsoft Flow" user in the settings and issue got fixed
Thanks for your support
Glad to know that the issue has been resolved. Even though assigning "System Administrator" role might have resolved that issue, it might not be the best practice. When you have some time to spend on that issue, please consider finding out the missing privilege in the "Microsoft Flow" user and adding the missing privilege to the Approvals Administrator security role.
Please also mark the answer which solved your issue as verified so that it will be helpful for the other community members who encounter the same issue.
