Hi,

We recently upgraded from AX 2012 to Dynamics 365 FO. Before we migrated, when we print Retail Shelf Label, it includes the Item Description. But on the new Dynamics 365 it does not have it. I checked the set up from the old AX to the new one and they are just the same. In which part of D365 can we change or customized the shelf label to be able to add the Item name again?

I suggest you do customization to put the item description to the label "Text 2", then it will auto print.

Hi,

I tried that but still did not print anything. Actually on my settings, I have Product number, Text 1, and Quantity. It does print out the Product number but the Text 1 which shows the product name does not, and even if i have a value in my quantity it just prints 0.

You need do some customization to set the product description to "Text 2",

Please let me know if this resolve your issue.

Hi Steven,

I think if I can put Text 1 on my print out it should be ok. Do you know where I can see the settings to check if Text 1 is included in the label?

You can check it form queue "Labels to print".

Thank you, it seems to be there but cannot find out why it is not coming out on the print.

On the photo below, the one on the left is what to used to come out in the old AX, and the one on the right is then one on D365.

You need debug the code to find the RCA, for standard ENV, it will auto set to text1. Is this relate to language setting?

Thanks, I was able to change the language setting and it now prints the description.
