Creating a solution

Hello,

I have a question about solutions, I have created a new solution and added the various components to it, I have not exported the solution yet. My question is if I make changes to any of the components included in the solution e.g. if I have already included the accounts entity in the solution, but then after the solution has been created I then go and add a new field to the accounts form, will this new field creation automatically be included in the existing solution?

What I am trying to clarify is whether solutions are dynamic or static.

Hi,

Solutions are dynamic. In 2011 through 2015, if you add an entity to a solution then all the fields will be included, and when you add a new field it'll be included automatically.

2016 has different options so you can include only some fields and not all, but in 2015 it'll include all of them.

Hi

As Aiden said the changes will be included as they are part of the entity, but those changes will only be ported across if they have been published.
