automatic process non-system admin user

I currently deployed a CRM 2011 on-premises solution with 13 users. One of the users is a System Admin while the others are in custom-created security roles.

I have 30+ automatic processes that are supposed to fire when records are created, edited, etc.

The problem is, is that no user other than the System Administrator can get those processes to fire.

I have double checked and the user has permissions to create, write, read, append, and append to all records involved in these automatic processes.

I have found the MS has VERY POOR documentation almost to the point they think that all users are going to reside in the System Admin role.

What am I missing?

Thanks

Try one of the processes manually for one of the users that are having an issue.  Hopefully at some point in the process they will get an error.  If you view the detail of the error it might have a security warning telling you the permission they are missing.

Very interesting...it runs fine manually...but not automatically ??

Try creating a very simple process one to update a single field.  The scurity the users might be missing might be with the System Process itself.  Under the users security role at the minimum verify they have Execute Workflow Job.  They may also need Read and Append to Process.

I think I found it...Under the Automatic process heading, there is a Scope...I had it set to User, when I changed it to Organization, it worked automatically....now I have to change them all and see...
