Procurement WF managerial hierarchy CEO report to empty position

Hello

I m wondering how do you manage the logic of a WF in 'Retrieve all possible users' for an approval hierarchy based on positions.

But the WF gets to the last possible position which is the CEO and it continues to try to find the next report to position.

I feel like there is missing parameter where we should be able to tell the system that it has reached the last possible position. Its not the infinity of report tos.

A reports to position was not found for position '000YYY' using the 'Line' hierarchy type. Go to 'Positions', find position '000YYY' and set the 'Reports to' position.

Hello,

You got the condition for approval right.

The system will find all the possible approvers in the line hierarchy from the requester up to an employee that has an Approval Limit that exceeds the amount on the PR. For a $100,000 PR, the PR stops going up the chain when it reaches the employee with at least $100,000 approval limit.

Give your CEO an amount the highest amount, add a condition to automatically reject PR that are higher than this maximum approval limit (with message advising the Requester of that limit) and you are fine.

Hi,

If you know which position you would like to find then you can add the stop condition as well.

Hi Veronika,

Were you able to solve this issue already? If not, try to set the stop condition based on the job or position title of the worker. E.g. "CEO".
