Inventory report

I need a report in ax 2012 to show inventory beginning balance, transactions and ending balance (quantity) .

for example

items 9001 , 9002 , 9003 and  9004

beginning date 01 - June - 2020 

transactions through June 2020

ending date 30 -June - 2020

    Hi Mahmoud,

    To my knowledge there is no such an 'accounting' like report available in the standard application.

    The only one I know that comes close to this is a country specific report for China.

    Please check out those country reports under inventory management / reports in a demo or test machine to see if they can be slightly modified and be used.

    Thank you Dr. Ludwig, I checked in a demo data for China and found inquiry called inventory status that gives exactly what we want.

    I wonder why ax 2012 doesn't make such inquires available for all countries?

    we are in the middle east and we need this inquiry, is it possible to (copy the code) for Saudi Arabia or Egypt?

    The only thing that we can do is posting a note on the dynamics experience site and thereby basically ask to make this feature generally available.

    Hi Mahmoud,

    kindly note that there is no standard report for your request, meanwhile you can check the stock as of date from "inventory aging" report.

    otherwise, you can customize a report from "inventtrans" table showing what before the "from date" (from date will be as parameter in your customized report ) will be opening balance and showing the transactions during "From/To date" and finally the end date balance.
