Hi guys,

This is kinda technical and actually an old development stuff. 

When someone ask you a question like this :

Select customer name contain the next "Wholesales", what is the correct filter statement ? How we put the wildcard ?

1. option A  : Wholesales*

2. option B : *Wholesales*

I think because it has the word "next" on that question, the correct filter is option A, right ?

Option B may result every customer name contain the word Wholesales, including some prefix.

    Do you want to filter customers in code? Or is the question related to filtering on a grid?

    I don't understand what does "name contain next 'Wholesales'" means.

    Anyway your option A filters customers whose name starts with Wholesales. And option B filters customers whose name contains Wholesales.
