1,325Please help! How do I resolve these errors?
I'm getting the following error message when attempting to setup my dimensions through the AA wizard: "Your total account length is 136 which exceeds the FRx limit of 128 character".- Why does the AA dimension wizard look at the account definition in DYNAMICS (sy00302) vs. the company account format (SY00300)? I know this is happening because the dimension structure in the AA dimension wizard is as per the account definition when I installed GP (10 segments) vs. my company account format (7 segments)
- How can I get the AA dimension wizard to look at the company account format (7 segments) so that I can add my 2 additional dimensions. I'm aware for AA reporting Frx is limited to 9 segments.
- How can I edit the dimension length to be less than the maximum character length? I changed the length of my 2 dimension to 31. The following error message appears: "The proposed length cannot be less thabn the original length. This change did not take place." Why is it not possible to make the length less than the maximum? I want to change it to be < 31 characters.
- Which tables holds the information the wizard is looking at? If all else fails I will edit the information within the tables. This wizard is driving me crazy!!!
