could anyone tell me what's the case that Xrm.Page.ui.getFormType()=5(Quick Create)

i guess it's when you create record from lookup dialog. But in fact not. i got formtype value = 1 in that case.

how can i know it is from usual create or from a lookup dialog create on page onload.

your reply would be appreciated

Thanks a lot., your information is very valuable to me.

My customer want to do a job like this.  I open a form(Entity A) with a lookup(Entity B). Then click lookup button to open the lookup window. Next click the "New" button to create a  new Entity B record. After the Entity B new window opened, i want to set Entity A's property value to the form. Is there a way to achieve this?
