Dear Sir,

We're not able to compile any object in NAV 2016 Database while working remotely. Suppose NAV SERVER & SQL SERVER are installed in a Machine Called 'PC1' & we are trying to modify & compile its object from a Client Computer. The following error is  popped up from the machine.

8473.CError.JPG

The Firewall/Anti Virus application are temporally off though it's not working.

What could be the actual reason ? Kindly reply.

Thank you,

Subrata

The Development user has "SUPER" Role in NAV & all the required/mandatory rights in SQL Server/Database.

    Hi Subrata,

By looking to the error the only reason I am finding is NAV service is not accessible or running, can you please have a look the NAV service if its running well?

    Hi Nitin,

NAV Serveice is running & I'm able to find the same in "Server Instance" field thru "File" ----->"Database"----->"Information".

Have you check your Windows Event Viewer (client and server side) if there are any erro messages?

Try to run the Windows Client ad Administrator privileges and check the Server firewall ports rules.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I'm not able to find any such kind of information(in Event Viewer) related to my problem in client pc as well as Server PC. Firewalls are inactive in both side.

    Dear SUBRATA,

Go, in services and restart the all SQL services. Query will resolve automatically. Today morning I was facing the same problem now it has been resolved through restarting the SQL services.
