    Hi,

You can try the following step by step reset operation:

    1. Login Office 365 Choose Admin > Admin Center > Dynamics 365

    2. Choose the Instance and in Instances Panel and click RESET

    3. Choose your target version as D365 V9.0 and check the service you want to preinstall. It will reset your Instance to the latest V9.0.

    Hope it helps!

You will have to do this via the Admin Center (Dynamics 365 Admin Center) in the Office 365 Portal and schedule a time to update your organization. You do not need to reset your instance in order to update,

Click on the Updates tab and see which instances are available for update. If they are, click on the instance, and on the right hand side click Schedule your Update. You will be able to select the date for the update and an alternate date if for some reason Microsoft is unable to perform the update at that time.

    Hi Vinit,

You can't upgrade your instance to v9 if the upgrade is not available. You check if the upgrade is available by the above suggestions.

Doing a reset will erase everything from your organization so don't go for that if you have a prod or a working environment.

    Hope this helps.

    Continuing to this thread...

Is it necessary to change the Javascript and plugin code before upgrading to 9.0?

Because while updating I got below messages from a tool of XrmtoolBox.

    3386.Errors.JPG

If yes, then is there any tool which can be used to change these javascipts?

    Thanks in advance.

No - its not necessary that you have to change it as XRM.Page still works in v9 however it is a good practice to start using formcontext.

i am afraid there is no tool available for conversion of javascript.

Yes, don;t think thee is any tool yet. If you are interested to migrate to new framework then you can follow Aric's blog post about Migrating Client API-

    Hope this helps.
