Microsoft Dynamics AX (Archived)

Batch job not processing and is still in waiting state.

I have a batch job which is not executing and stills in waiting state.

with a little Research in this issue i found two reasons. 

please help me telling the correct one

-either the AOS server assigned to the batch group is not marked as the batch server or else

-the batch group is not assigned to the batch job.

please help

    Hi,

    Either one of them or both could be the reasons for batch job to stay in waiting state. Please check server configuration form to check if any setup is missing.

    Go ahead and check the assigned batch group in your job and then check if that batch group has correct AOS server assigned and then check if check box 'Is batch server' checked for that particular AOS server.
