Is the s4future12 field in Dynamics SL available for use as a custom field?

I need to create a check box on the Vendor screen and all of my user fields have been used. I want to use either S4Future11 or S4Future12 as the field to hold the value. We are currently on SL 2011. I need to know if either of those fields have already been used in more current versions of Dynamics SL or if either field is already slated for use.

Hi, I know that this post is getting a little old but I'd like to add a little something on what Mark said.

I totally agree that using S4Future could be a problem. But if you do, be aware that some of those can be wiped by the system at some point. I have seen data been removed from the S4Future fields, I can't remember for which table but if you use them, it may happen and cause unexpected behaviors ;)

The S4Future fields are typically marked as Reserved in the Help Schema (if they are not already used for other purposes). I would recommend NOT using any S4Future field for customizations. You never know when they will get used for something by development. In SL 2018, they still show as Reserved in the Help Schema.
