Create Bom through code x++

Hi i've a requirement where i want to create a new bom with header & lines through code. In Ax2012/2009 we can use AXBOM & AXBOMVersion objects to create a bom, but in d365fo if i want to create it how would i do that ? Want to use same classes which system is using.

does anyone have done the same assignment before ? kindly suggest some solutions.

Hi Zohan,

If you want to use the methods of the system's classes, one of the possible ways may be:

Navigate to Product information management > Bills of materials and formulas > Bills of materials.

Press the new button and enter the BOM name, Site, and Item group the specified page is the page where the Bom was created.

Then you can navigate to AOT and debug the methods of the system's classes by yourself, because I don't have a test environment at hand, you may need to debug it yourself. alternatively, you can see if others have any suggestions.
