GP Purchase Requisitions are not visible for a user

Hi,

My users all have All Requisitions checked under the Display Requisitions During Entry for:

section of the Purchase Order Setup - Requisition Setup window.

At least one user who has the ESS Purchase Requestor role as well as several other roles, can still only see her own requisitions. This happens in both live and test companies.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Linda

    Dear Linda,

Please make sure the users are configured under requisition setup screen(Tools >> Setup >> Purchase Order Processing >> Requisition button)

Check all requisition for the desired users.

Yeah - that's the strange thing - those boxes are checked for all users.

Linda, if the users are marked as 'All Requisitions' in the above window, verify in the User Setup window whether these users are set as a 'Full' type or 'Self Service' type.

I could see potentially where, if they were set as a 'Self Service' user, they may not be able to view any requisitions besides their own, as that is pretty much what that user type was created for.

Self Service type users also do't really use the security roles/tasks like 'Full' users do, they're hard-coded to have specific permissions to functionality in Dynamics GP and that is it.

    Thanks,

    Hi Derek,

The user is set up as a Full user and is Active.

    What else can we check?

    Thanks,

    Linda

To clarify, this user who has 'All Requisitions' marked for them under the Requisition Setup window, they have tried logging out of Dynamics GP and back in, for the changes to go through? (most likely they have, but didn't want to overlook it)

Also, when you mention the user can only see her own requisitions, is this in the navigation list or in the actual transaction entry window?

If nav lists, they may have a filter on the list, as mentioned in this blog:

    community.dynamics.com/.../missing-workflow-documents-in-the-navigation-list

If this doesn't resolve it, verify whether they can go into the Requisition Transaction Entry window and view requisitions from other users or not.

    Thanks
