I will agree with all the rest, get some training.
There is not enough room to train you in distributions here. I know, I write the books on GP and most are hundreds of pages. If you have a partner, pay them for their help. If not, buy a set of my books, they will help. But you still need some accounting knowledge.
Thanks Mr Ian,Mr Mariano,Mrs L vail.
Extremely sorry to send the Double request.

[/quote]I can see your tactic now involves double posting in the forum just to avoid the truth, but here it is again just in case you did not want to read it from my previous post.
How about you go to training? Why are you expected to complete a system implementation/configuration without any background on how the system options work. Accounting distributions can be assigned at the customer, vendor, item, checkbook levels, at the customer, item, vendor class levels, and at the company posting level. Not only that, but if you are using some of the more advanced features like SOP, POP, or Manufacturing, these modules can be configured to calculate distributions in some very sophisticated ways. As you can tell, that's a pretty wide range of options. If this is truly urgent, then you are better off opening a support case.
Hi RAJKUMAR,
I'm with Ian on this one. Determining the correct distribution accounts is an exercise in accounting. Without some accounting knowledge, this will be difficult if not impossible to do correctly. There are many accounting types on this forum (me included), like Ian suggessted, if you post a more specific question, you will most likely get some kind of answer. And I do mean specific.
Kind regards,
Leslie
To be honest? No...Not here. I think it would fill up the database! You need help from a partner or get some training. If you are reallt stuck PM me or post here with specific questions.
