Hi all,
Hoping you can help me. I've seen many similar questions, but I've not found this one...
On CRM D365 the option to Assign a record to another User or Team is greyed out and padlocked. I can Assign to Me, but not anyone else.
I'm a System Admin, I have checked that I have every possible permission (no sneaky customer entities have been overlooked).
I've tried assigning it to Me first and then to someone else, same thing.
I've looked at it via Ribbon Workbench, but it's not that.
I'm at a loss! Any ideas?
Many thanks,
Pete.
I've included a screenshot.
Thanks for the suggestion Lu Hao. Unfortunately it wasn't the solution on this occasions; but luckily I have found the solution.
UPDATE - Solved it (and it's rather embarrassing)... turns out you need to click on "Me" for it to change to "User or Team" and then you re-assign. I could argue that it's really not very clear, but equally I can't believe I didn't find it sooner. :D
Hi partner,
Please check whether the Owner field on the form is also locked.
In the form editor, open the properties of Owner field, make sure that it is not read-only.
If the Owner field is read-only, then 'User or team' field is also read-only.
