Hi,

I am using Microsoft Outlook Online (Office 365).

I want to configure CRM online to use Outlook Online as email server (something like: outgoing server = Microsoft Dynamics CRM for outlook)

Is there a way "to install the CRM for outlook client" in Outlook Online (Office 365) ?

    Hi! If you are referring to the office 365 web mail client then the CRM for Outlook plugin does not work for this - however you can use the new outlook app or folder based tracking.

    If you are talking about using the full outlook with CRM Online then this works exactly the same as for the on prem version.

    I want to only send emails from CRM online using office 365 web mail client. Means how to configure CRM online to use office 365 web mail client to send emails ?

    You will need to configure server side sync - see technet.microsoft.com/.../dn531109.aspx

    This will then allow you to create an email in CRM online using the web client and then the mail will be sent via Office 365.

    The problem is: When using Microsoft Dynamics CRM for outlook as Outgoing server, Outlook must be running to synshronize with CRM Online then send emails.

    => I want to use office 365 web mail client to do not need to strat outlook to make the synchronization.

    I cannot use server side sync because I am using mailjet (www.mailjet.com).

    Configuring server side sync using mailjet as an outgoing server doesn't work in crm online.

    I can only configure mailjet on outlook. So I must use Dynamics CRM for Outlook. And why not Outlook Online (Office 365).
