Is there a place in the financial setup, that one can change the order of the segments?
Currently GL acct # is "dept"-"acct"-"contra". Would liketo change the order so it would be "acct"-"dept"-"contra". I assume then the new order would appear on every screen that the account number is seen or inputted.

I am not aware of any way to do this out of the box. If you are open to an ISV solution, it sounds like Re-Formatter from CRG can help with this: www.crgroup.com/.../Re-Formatter%20(Apr%202011).pdf. This may also be something that the Microsoft Professional Services team can do for a fee.
