Hello,
I've been encountering an issue that restrict me from loading any data in CI:
I have admin rights on the CI environment and I already tried with different users that also have admin rights.
But nothing is working.
I couldn't find any other past resolution on this kind of problem.
Does somebody knows what is happening here ?
Thanks
Glad you were able to identify a fix. we will look into if there's a permissions sync issue when new users are added to CI.
Hi, my error was the same as the original post.
I was not able to see the CI Production environment in PowerApps.
It turned out that I was missing roles in the Dataverse environment connected to CI Production.
Adding my user the role fixed this issue. I am now able to save PowerQuery data sources in Customer Insights.
Thank you for your feedback.
Best regards,
Laura
Laura Padovani - few suggestions - is there any other user who can still save it? Also, can you pls share the exact error message? is it a power query data source? if so, can you try creating a dataflow in https://make.powerapps.com in the dataverse environment for your CI instance? you can also reach out to support : https://aka.ms/cisupport
Hi,
I am facing the same issue and I can't understand how to resolve it.
The names of my entities do not contain spaces.
Can someone help on this?
Thank you,
Laura
The issue was solved by applying the update Dataverse with Wave 2 release.
Arnaud Lebet I assume your issue is resolved. If you get a chance, pls do share your resolution for the community.
Thanks!
We encountered a similar issue.
Verify the name(s) of the entities you are saving from your datasource, do not have any spaces in them. The names are auto generated by CI. CI will sometimes put a space in the name, and the data source will NOT save. You will need to edit the generated name, to remove the spaces.
In my case, our data source was a database, and the table being imported was "Schema.tableName". CI auto generated the name as "Schema tableName", replacing the period with a space. The data source would not save, and throws an error indicating a permission error.

Will ask the team and come back to you.
