Enterprise Vault & Dynamics CRM Outlook Error

Software installed:

-MS Outlook 2010

-Enterprise Vault V10 Outlook Add In

-CRM Dynamics 2011 Outlook Client

1.       Open Outlook, navigate to CRM Dynamics

2.       Navigate from CRM Dynamics Outlook Client to Enterprise Vault Ribbon

3.       The following error is displayed

 

 

4.       User clicks continue but can no longer retrieve items from Enterprise Vault.

Outlook eventually crashes & user forced to disable the EV add-in in order to enable use of CRM dynamics

Any idea?

    Hello Gad,

    The error is not clear

    Before you installed CRM Add-in did you notice such issues?

    I would say you start by uninstalling and reinstalling EV and check if the issue still persists.

    Gad,

    We are having a similar issue with MS Outlook 2010 crashing. We have both the Enterprise Vault add-in and the CRM 2011 add-in installed in Outlook.

    Did you ever resolve the issue ?

    Hi Chris. We worked with support and was unable to resolve as it is coming from the EV side. However - We have a reason to believe that the issue was fixed in the latest version of EV that was released last week (10.0.2). Working in getting those bits to test. Let me know if you test and it works..
