Hi!

We are currently working the the D365 Business Central API.

In the integration we are building, we want to add a VAT/TAX group to the journal line but I can't seem to find anything about this in the documentation.

Creating a JournalLine

Get a TaxGroup

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-gb/dynamics-nav/api-reference/v1.0/api/dynamics_taxgroups_get

But how to combine these two?

Hello - When I manually enter a line that has the Vat posting groups defined this auto populates on the Journal line. Since it is automatically defaulting in I am guessing that is why you are seeing it missing from the API. You will need to either user Web Services or create a Custom API.
