Exception error when GP login and logouts

Hi all,

Below error message keep pops-up very often during login & logout of GP application on citrix servers where the GP applications has published.

"The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000417) occured in the application at location 0x7858c955".

I found the below solution from searchign in web. But still it keep pops-up. Any permanent solution for this error msg is highly appreciable.

The resolution is the below steps to be done on each of Citrix Server:
1.) Right click on my computer and go to properties
2.) On the Advanced tab go to the performance settings
3.) On Data Execution Prevention, add the Dynamics.exe (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2010) to the exceptions below.

Hi Vijay,

Hard one to resolve / debug.

Do you have a local workstation install of GP anywhere (i.e. not one connected through Citrix). If so, try this and see if the error appears.

If you log in as Administrator, does the error appear?

Turn off any anti virus software.
