Components won't add to Manufacturing Picklist, via "Add Component"

Hey,

My co-worker and I are trying to add Parts to a Manufacturing Order's Picklist, so that we can issue the Inventory to the MO. However, when we go to the Picklist and try to add the Part, via "Add Component", nothing happens. This happens only on occasion; most of the time, the Add Component function actually works, and the Part does get added to the Picklist. On some rare occasions though, the function does not work. Our solution is to attempt, over and over, until it works, and eventually it does, but it is tedious, and doesn't make sense that it would not work the first time. I was told by a consultant that there was a bug, and that a short term solution would be to try and add "100" to the Position Number in the Add Component window. However, this is a short term solution, and even this solution doesn't work now.

Please help with any advice you might have on this issue. Thanks.

- John

    I had this same issue.

The only thing I could do was reverse issue what had been issued. Delete the pick list. Rebuild the pick list. Post issue for what I had reversed. Then I was able to add additional items to the pick list (I know, I could have added items before posting issues, but I wanted those issues to reflect the same quantities as the original).

I wish there was a way to unlock this or fix this using SQL, but I couldn't find anything that was clearly wrong with the MO or Picklist tables. I am sure it was there, but I didn't know how to fix.  I don't like having to reverse and rebuild.

Either way, the MO has been fully picked, received and closed with no issue after the above.
