How to skip field recalculation on releasing sales order?

When you click release on a sales order the price fields within your sales line table will get recalculated. So i was wondering if there is a way to still release the sales order but skip the field recalculation process?

Thanks in advance.

During the release the tax calculation happens and update the amount fields, it will not update price fields? do you want to skip the tax calculation and if so why?

Seems i'm wrong on what fields are getting calculated then. The answer to why, i can only respond with someone asked me to do it. I don't know his reasoning behind it. But basically what i want to get is if i change the Total price Incl VAT and release the sales order, when i reopen it another time, the price should still be the one i changed it to.

And why do you want to do so?

As i commented before, i don't know why i'm asked to do this. I only know this is something that they want to have implemented.

The releasing process should not recalculate the Unit price. There may be a modification that changes the standard behavior. Check codeunit 414 Release Sales Document for any modification.
